Countdown to MaineStreet HR Upgrade

Employees should access the Employee Self Service Guides to find out more information about entering time, viewing their benefits or paycheck, or other items available on the employee self service screens.

Time Approvers should review the Manager Self-Service Guides for information reviewing and approving time for your employees.

Human Resources liaisons and personnel should use the HR Forms and Guides to find documents related to data entry, processes and reporting.

  • Coming Soon - MaineStreet Human Resources Upgrade
    Here's What's Happening
    The MaineStreet Human Resources system (Employee Self-Service, Manager Self-Service, etc.) will soon be upgraded from version 9.1 to 9.2. The upgrade will begin on Friday, June 8, and will be completed by start of business on Tuesday, June 12.
    This upgrade will allow us to be current with the latest improvements in technology behind MaineStreet Human Resources. Once the system is upgraded, we will continue to build upon it to provide a more contemporary approach to the management of employee information.
    A team of IT and HR colleagues has been working for several months to make certain this transition is as smooth as possible for all University employees.

    What's the Timeline?
    The upgrade will begin on Friday, June 8, at 5:00 p.m. when the Human Resources system will be taken offline. The system will remain offline until the start of business on Tuesday, June 12, when the upgraded version will be available to all employees.

    What's Next?
    This won't be the last communication about the HR Upgrade. As we move forward with this transition, additional communications will feature tips on how to take optimum advantage of the new system. Look for more communications in the coming days!

  • Delay in January monthly payroll processing
    To ensure employees are paid accurately, it was necessary for us to postpone processing of the January monthly payroll.  It will be processed on Monday, January 29, 2018.

  • Forms W2 are available in Self-Service
    Hard copies for employees not opting to receive electronically will be mailed via USPS by the 1/31/18 deadline

    This is a note to remind everyone that the payroll and benefits teams will not be working on Monday, April 17th in observation of Patriot's Day.
