The MaineStreet Human Resources system will soon be upgraded from version 9.1 to 9.2. MaineStreet HR will be unavailable during the upgrade which will begin at 5pm on Friday, June 8, and will be completed by start of business on Tuesday, June 12. This upgrade will allow us to be current with the latest improvements in technology behind MaineStreet Human Resources. Once the system is upgraded, we will continue to build upon it to provide a more contemporary approach to the management of employee information. A team of IT and HR colleagues has been working for several months to make certain this transition is as smooth as possible for all University employees.
What's the Timeline? The upgrade will begin on Friday, June 8, at 5:00 p.m. when the Human Resources system will be taken offline. The system will remain offline until the start of business on Tuesday, June 12, when the upgraded version will be available to all employees. What's Next? This won't be the last communication about the HR Upgrade. As we move forward with this transition, additional communications will feature tips on how to take optimum advantage of the new system. Look for more communications in the coming days!
